Betty Cumbie

Betty Cumbie, age 64, of Bethlehem, GA passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025. She was preceded in death by father, Jack Strickland; mother, Barbara Savage Humphries; sister, Crystal Stickland; and grandson, Benjamin Anthony. Mrs. Cumbie is survived by her husband of nine years, Donald Piple, Jr of Bethlehem; children, Jonathan McDougald of Loganville, GA, Keith and Kayla Cumbie of Ft. Valley, GA, Samantha McDougald of Winder, GA, Tabatha and Brian Anthony of Cornelia, GA; eight grandchildren; Linda (Alana Watkins) Whitfield of Gainesville, GA, Shirley Dowdy of Bethlehem, Tanya Brown of Cleveland, GA; brothers, Rex Savage of Gainesville and Jerry (Nancy) Whitfield of Blue Ridge, GA; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mrs. Cumbie was born on December 17, 1960 in Commerce, GA and was a graduate of North Hall High School in Gainesville. She was a nursing assistant for Caring Hands Home Healthcare, and was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church in Winder, GA. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 12:00 noon until time for the service at 3:00 p.m.
