Melissa Jane Stewart

Melissa Jane Stewart, age 63, of Panama City Beach, FL passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025. She was preceded in death by her father, Gene Steward; sisters, Melissa Gail Stewart, Sandra Gail Stewart.  Mrs. Stewart is survived by her mother, Barbara Bennett Miller of Lawrenceville, GA; brother, Danny (Teresa) Stewart of Jacksonville FL; sister, Bonnie (Scott) Schafer of Auburn, GA; children, Shauna (Benjamin) Johnson of Flowery Branch, GA, Nathan Fields of Buford, GA, Cole fields of Dacula, GA; aunts, Beverly Britt of Lilburn, GA, Judy Presley of Lilburn.  Mrs. Stewart was born on June 13, 1961 in Decatur, GA and graduated from Berkmar High School in Lilburn in 1980.  She was retired from Giant Enterprises as regional manager with eighteen years of service.  Mrs. Steward also worked for Domino Pizza in Panama City Beach, FL.  She was a member of Beachside Fellowship Church in Panama City Beach, FL.  Mrs. Stewart enjoyed playing guitar and loved the beach and hiking.  Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Pastor Ken Anderson officiating.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
