Charles Glenn Whitt Jr.

Charles Glenn Whitt Jr., age 86, of Dacula,Ga passed away on Friday February 14th 2025 a loving father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend, passed away, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Glenn Whitt; his mother, Laverne Haley; his sisters, Loretta Laverne Gurewitz and Catherine Olivia Roberts; his brother, Dennis Dale Whitt; his son Eric Travis Whitt; his granddaughter Cassie Hunter and his son-in-law William Hunter.

His surviving family includes his brother, Michael Glenn Whitt.  his children, Glenn Whitt and his wife Nicole Whitt, and Julie Hunter; his grandchildren, Angie Conley, Jamie Whitt, Marina Eich (Taylor), Summer Peterson (Austin), Jordan Whitt (Carol), Billy Hunter, and Jeremy Hunter and his great-grandchildren, Chloe Stephens, Iris Peterson, Alaina Eich, Atlas Peterson, and Claira Eich.

Glenn also leaves behind many beloved extended family members, including nieces and nephews, whom he loved dearly.

He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the 1950s, demonstrating his dedication to his country. After his military service, he worked as a concrete mason for over 50 years, taking pride in his craftsmanship and hard work.

Glenn will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His kindness, strength, and devotion to family will forever be remembered.

A Memorial Service will be at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home located in Buford, GA with Dr. Bill Coates officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, March 1, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m., time of the Service.
