Joseph Grady Roberts, Jr.

Joseph (Joe, Joey, JoJo) Grady Roberts, Jr., age 62 passed away Monday February 17, 2025, at his home in Gainesville. He was a true warrior in his battle with cancer.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Grady and Linda Roberts, and sister, Janet Crowder, and brother-in-law, Ronnie Grizzle.

Joey was born July 28, 1962. He is survived by his wife, Connie Roberts, son and daughter-in-law, Jeremiah and Brandy Lovell, daughter and son-in-law, LaShea and Dusty Martin, sister, Tammy Grizzle, brother and sister-in-law, Freddy and Sherry Roberts, sister and brother-in-law, Christy and Scott Cramer, and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Harold and Cindy Crow. Grandchildren, Jada Lovell and Peyton Martin, and great grandson, Silas Lovell, and a number of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncle. And many very close friends and extended Kubota family members who supported him continuously.

He loved God and was a generous giver. Joey loved deer hunting, camping and grilling on his smokers. He was a teaser, always had a story to tell and never met a stranger. He truly loved all the medical personnel he encountered throughout his battle with cancer and was so grateful for their support and care.

Funeral services will be held Saturday February 22, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Rev. Jeff Ayers and Rev. Dexter Horne will officiate. Interment will follow the service at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday February 21 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until the funeral hour.
