Nanette Chastain Dean

Nanette Chastain Dean, age 60, of Hiawassee, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025.

Mrs. Dean was born on October 19, 1964, in Towns County, to the late Phillip Allen Chastain and Jeanette Underwood Chastain. She worked as a convenience store clerk.  In addition to her parents, Nanette was preceded in death by her brother, Rondy Chastain; niece, Amanda Chastain; nephew, Dylan Chastain.

Survivors include her husband, Marvin Dean; brothers and sisters-in-law, Brad and Melissa Chastain, and David and Melissa Chastain; a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

Graveside services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Friday, February 21, 2025, at Old Nacoochee Baptist Church Cemetery.  The Rev. Mike Stewart will officiate.
