Glenn Ash, age 77, of Dahlonega, Georgia, passed away on February 15, 2025. He was born on May 21, 1947, in Gainesville, Georgia, to the late Boyd Henry Ash and the late Ruth Esther Collins Egnor. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Amy Ash; brothers, Randall Ash and Gene Ash; and mother-in-law Dorothy Dover.
Glenn is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Ann Ash; daughters and sons-in-law Natalie Gunter (David) of Dawsonville and Janet Adams (Jeff) of Nicholson; grandchildren Grant Gunter, Genna Gunter, Ashley Dover, and Jonathon Cowart; great-grandchildren Tiffany Dover and Johnny McDaniel; great-niece Isabell Lance; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Carolyn and Jerry Fuller, Wanda Dodd, Shane Dover, and Michelle and Bruce Watts.
Known for his heart of gold and willingness to help anyone in need, Glenn cherished his time tending to his garden. His grandson beautifully encapsulated his legacy, saying, "Many a seed you have sown. Some you have and have not known. A man of Character who stood on the Truth. A great example of how to be grown, even in youth. In our hearts you now reside, never Forgotten You'll always abide."
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, in the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Jerry Fuller. Interment will follow at Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, February 17, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
