Margaret Lingerfelt

Margaret Lingerfelt, 88 of Gainesville died Thursday February 13, 2025, at her residence.

A lifelong resident of Hall County, Mrs. Lingerfelt was the daughter of the late George Robert and Minnie Pauline Collins Jones. She retired from the Gainesville Elks Club where she worked as the hostess for many years.  She was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include her daughter, Renee York, Gainesville, granddaughter and husband, Lauran Berrong (Justin), Demorest, grandson, Dustin York, Gainesville, great grandchildren, Halle Berrong, Elijah Berrong, Noah Berrong, sister-in-law, Carol Jones, Dawsonville, niece and husband, Sherrie Garmon (Barron), Cumming, nephews, Wes Jones, Key West, FL, Rob Jones (Traci), Dawsonville, great nephews, Cody Shuler (Annie), Gainesville, Zachary Garmon, Cumming.

Mrs. Lingerfelt is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ray Lingerfelt, sons, Ronnie Lingerfelt, Donnie Bryant, sister, Shirley McMahan, brother, Glen Jones and nephew, Brian McMahan.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday February 19, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Rev. Lee Cantrell will officiate. Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. until the funeral hour.
