Robert Parks Sr.

Robert Parks Sr., age 82 of Gainesville, Ga, passed away on Wednesday, February 12th, 2025. He was born February 3rd, 1943 in Atlanta, GA, and was preceded in death by his parents Archie and Mozelle Parks, brothers; Wilson Parks, James Parks and John Parks, sisters; Virginia Johnson and Joyce Parks Wright, and Great Grandson Silas Ellis. Mr. Parks is survived by his wife of 57 years Lynn Hammond Parks, daughter and son in law Robin and Jason Marlow, son and daughter in law Robert and Marnie Parks Jr, Grandchildren, Scott Cox, Ashley Ellis, Emma Parks and Logan Madrid, Great Grandchildren; Cassin Cox, Dexter Ellis, Amalise Cox and Harrison Ellis along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Robert attended trade school with the IBEW to become an Electrician. He retired from General Motors with 30 years of service. He also served in the National Guard.
