Mr. Grayson William Lambert, Jr., age 77, of Gainesville passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at his residence, following a brief illness.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 15, 2025 in the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home with interment following at Memorial Park South Cemetery. Spiritual Formation Pastor, Sarah Oakley will officiate. The family will receive friends 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday, February 14, 2025 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.
Mr. Lambert was born December 20, 1947 in Athens and retired after 40+ years from Reliance Electric. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and served in the Vietnam War.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Jeanette Lambert; mother, Martha P. lambert; and father, Grayson Lambert, Sr. Survivors include daughters. Kelly Attaway of Oakwood and Deidra Pinion of Monroe; grandchildren, Taylor and Carter Pinion and Aaron Attaway; brothers, Rand Lambert and Steve (Cherry) Lambert; and several nieces & nephews. Mr. Lambert is also survived by a bonus family including companion, Ellen Cowne; her sons, Dallas Cowne and Chad Elder; her daughter, Beejee Elder; and was “Uncle Bill” to her 7 grandchildren.
