Milton Gaddis, age 82, of Buford, GA, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025. He was born on December 1, 1942 in Cleveland, GA, and was preceded in death by his parents, Odell, Sr. and Olean Gaddis; son, Neal Gaddis; sister, Linda Coker; brother-in-law, Harold (Ruth) Kanady; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Homer and Mary Lou Kanady. Mr. Gaddis is survived by his wife of 63 years, Betty Jean Gaddis; son and daughter-in-law, Norman and Sherri Gaddis; daughter-in-law, Tammy Gaddis; grandchildren, Dustin and Stephanie Gaddis, Daniel and Mary Hannah Gaddis, Kelley and Brett Barger, Crystal and Nicholas Turner; great grandchildren, Jonah Gaddis, Abel Gaddis, Nora Kate Gaddis, Landon Turner, Ariel Barger, Lillian Turner; brothers, Odell, Jr. (Mary) Gaddis, Glen Gaddis; sisters, Brenda Bailey, Sheila Gaddis, Marsha (Chuck) Scott; sister-in-law, Sandra Boothby; brother-in-law, Robert Coker; uncle, Harben Kay; and a host of nieces and nephews also survive.
Milton attended North Hall High School and retired from Westvaco Corporaton in Chamblee after 42 years of service. He was a member of the Buford Masonic Lodge #292. He was ordained and served as a deacon at West Buford Baptist Church for many years and was a current member of Chestatee Baptist Church in Gainesville. He enjoyed motorcycling, hunting, fishing, and traveling. He will be remembered for his dedication to God and his love of his family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Barrett, Rev. Jerry Bennett, and Rev. Gary Wilson will officiate. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 15, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
