Albert Ralph Grindle, born on April 2, 1936, in Gainesville, Georgia, passed away on February 11, 2025. Albert was the cherished son of Ralph and Naomi (Calloway) Grindle of Gainesville, Georgia. He lived his life embracing the principles of simplicity, devotion to family, and authenticity.
He had 31 years of service at Stork Gamco before retiring. Albert had a deep passion for music, playing guitar and traveling. He lived a modest, yet fulfilling life, always finding delight in the company of friends and family.
Albert was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Grindle, and six siblings. He is survived by his sons and their spouses—Alan and Pamala Grindle of Homer, Georgia, and Larry and Vickie Grindle of Braselton, Georgia. He is also survived by four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Additionally, his sisters Lottie Cleveland and Claudine Moore and his brother Claude Grindle all of Gainesville, Georgia, survive him.
Memorial services will be held Sunday, February 16, 2025 at 2 p.m. at Hillside Chapel Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Hillside Chapel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1190 McEver Road, Gainesville, Georgia 30504.
His presence will be missed but never forgotten, as his life left an indelible mark on the hearts of his family and friends. May his soul rest in peace.
