Millard Metcalf, Jr.

Millard Metcalf, Jr., age 78, of Lawrenceville, Ga, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Millard Metcalf, Sr. and Ruth Elizabeth Buice Metcalf; sister, Bathsheba McPherson. Mr. Metcalf is survived by his brother, Troy Metcalf of Suwanee, GA; nieces, Crystal Burke of Loganville, GA, Carrie McPherson of Dacula, GA, Hannah Metcalf of Atlanta, GA; nephew, Joshua Metcalf of Suwanee, GA; aunt, Joyce Buice of Cumming, Ga; several great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.

Mr. Metcalf was born December 28, 1946 in Duluth, GA. He was a 1964 graduate of Milton High School. Mr. Metcalf was a Truck Driver for Tucker Paper. He was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Shady Grove Baptist Church, Suwanee, GA, with Rev. Allen Swafford officiating. Interment will follow at Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Metcalf will Lie in State at the Church on Saturday, February 15, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until time of the Service at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 13, 2025 from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA.
