Ms. Teresa Diane Cheek Amick, age 42 of Alleys Chapel Road, Clarkesville, Georgia passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Gainesville.

A daughter of Paul Douglas Cheek and Cathy Stover, she was born July 22, 1982 in Habersham County, Georgia, having lived in Toccoa for most of her life.  She was employed with KOYO in West Union, South Carolina and later with the Tribble Center in Seneca, South Carolina as support staff.  She was a member of Christ Fellowship.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, fishing, crafting, cooking and classic country music. 

Survivors include her father, Paul Douglas Cheek; mother, Cathy Stover; two daughters, Kaitlin Owens of Elberton, Georgia and Alyssa Ramey of Eastanollee, Georgia; sons, Colton Smith and Caleb Smith both of Franklin County, Georgia; grandson, William Ramey; sisters, Crystal Stowe of Eastanollee, Georgia, Kimberly Bost of Seneca South Carolina, Kathy Copley of Clarkesville, Georgia, Kat Crone-Miller of Commerce, Georgia, Rachel Hogan of Commerce, Georgia and Janet Martin of Blairsville, Georgia; her significant other, Travis Smith; step-mother, Ann Cheek; a number of nieces and nephews. 

Memorial service will be Saturday, February 15, 2025, 3 p.m. at Christ Fellowship with The Reverend Scott Collett officiating. 

The family will receive friends at Christ Fellowship on Friday, 3 p.m. until 5 p.m.
