HIPPLE

In Loving Memory of Julie Noël Hipple.

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mom, Julie Noël Hipple, who left us on February 6, 2025, at the age of 57. Julie was born on December 26, 1967, in Jackson, Michigan, where she spent her early years before moving to Atlanta, Georgia.

Julie was a dedicated and loving mom to her children, Joseph Theodore Hipple (Sophia Marie), and Jack Ryan Hipple. She is also survived by her parents, Crystal and Jerry Walmsley, and Jim and Judy Ordway; her siblings, Jennifer Wheeler (Emile), Jessica Tappan, Glenn Sischo (Tracy), Julie Malone (Chet), Bob Sischo (Tobi), Jodie Rush, and Matt Sischo (Kelly); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Deep love, enduring hope, and unwavering faith defined Julie’s life. She found joy in both the simple and grand moments of life. Whether it was indulging in cheesy disaster movies, enjoying tropical getaways, or immersing herself in niche board games, Julie cherished every moment. Above all, she was deeply devoted to uplifting others, sharing her kindness, and making those around her feel valued. Her thoughtfulness was unmatched—she never missed a birthday and made sure that everyone she loved felt special and remembered.

Julie was deeply devoted to her role as a special needs teacher. She poured her heart into her students, always offering kindness, compassion, and engaging activities. Julie’s excellence in education was widely recognized, earning her multiple Teacher of the Year awards. One of her greatest joys was the Special Olympics, an event she thoroughly enjoyed with the students of Riverside Elementary in Suwanee. Beyond the classroom, her passion for service extended to chairing her school’s Relay for Life, where she found great meaning in making a difference in the lives of others.

At the age of 34, Julie began her courageous battle with breast cancer. She celebrated remission, only to later face a stage IV metastatic diagnosis. Thanks to the expert care of Dr. Stephen Szabo, MD, the unwavering support of her best friend Kristen Keen, and the dedicated care of many medical professionals, Julie lived life to the fullest, on her own terms. She became a passionate advocate for others facing breast cancer through her “Waging War on Stage IV” Facebook page and fundraising events like the Susan G. Komen 3-Day Walk. She never let cancer define her. In her own words, “Cancer is the loser. I am the winner, because I never let cancer take over my life. I had cancer—it never had me!

Julie was a kind and generous soul, always putting the needs of others before her own. Despite the challenges she faced, she had a remarkable way of making everyone feel special when they were with her. Her love and compassion touched all who knew her, leaving a lasting impact on their lives. Our mom will be remembered for her warmth, selflessness, and the profound difference she made in the lives of so many.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Riverside Elementary, 5445 Settles Bridge Rd., Suwanee, GA. Beach attire and flip flops are encouraged per Julie’s wishes. Flowers are welcome, and Julie especially loved lilacs, snapdragons, and hydrangeas. Alternatively, donations may be made to METAvivor.org in Julie’s honor.
