Mr. Charles Joseph Nelson, age 62 of Foreacre Street, Toccoa, Georgia passed away Saturday, February 8, 2025 at the Stephens County Hospital.
A son of the late Charles Emmett Nelson and Alma Williams Nelson, he was born January 27, 1963 in Augusta, Georgia having lived most of his life in Toccoa. He was a 1981 graduate of Stephens County High School. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He loved to watch sports, listen to music, play his harmonica and loved the Lord.
Survivors include his sister and brother-in-law, Camille and Mark Marsteller of Toccoa; brother and sister-in-law, Brad and Valerie Nelson of Stone Mountain; nephews, Jamie Harris, Charlie Harris and Scott Harris; great-nephew, Charlie Harris, Jr.; great-niece, Catherine Harris.
The family will have a private memorial service at a later date. His wishes were to be cremated.
Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Charles Joseph Nelson.
