Mrs. Janice Olivia Miller, 84, of Gainesville, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, February 9, 2025 at her residence following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 12, 2025 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Doug Tritt, Rev. Lance Fuller and Rev. Kody Miller will officiate. Interment will be at Timberridge Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home Tuesday, February 11, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Born on September 12, 1940 in Gainesville, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Lottie Anglin Roberts. She was retired from Tunco Mfg. and Potter & Brumfield. Mrs. Miller was a lifetime member of Pleasant Union Baptist Church. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her precious grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Fred and Lottie Roberts, Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Ray Miller; sister, Gloria Durham; sister and brother in law, Joella and Harold Davis; sister in law, Sandra Roberts and daughter in law, Teresa Miller.
Mrs. Miller is survived by her children; Danny (Janien) Miller, Randy (Jannie) Miller; Cindy (Phil) Anderson; grandchildren, Kyle Miller, Kody (Brooke) Miller, Brandon Boothby, Kendal (Jonathan) Jones, Marissa (Zach) Luke; great grandchildren, Levi Miller, Nolan Luke, Lindy Luke; brother, Stanley Roberts; step grandchildren, Will (Shania) Venson, Beth (Brad) Hart, Barr (Jennifer) Venson and a number of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
