Gary Dean Gilleland

Mr. Gary Dean Gilleland, 68, of Gainesville, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2025 at his residence following an extended illness.

A Memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, February 13, 2025 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Drewery Loggins will officiate.

Born on August 21, 1956 in Gainesville, he was the son of Henry Lee Gilleland and Sylvia Brookshire Gilleland. He was retired from North Georgia Propane and of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Gilleland is survived by his sister and brother in law, Deborah and Vic Denard of Gainesville; sister, Valerie Orberson of Cleveland; brother, Jerry Gilleland of Gainesville; niece, Amanda Papp (Ashley); nephews, Nicholas Denard (Ashley), Wesley Denard (Kaitlyn), Alex Newman and a number of other loving relatives.
