Mr. James Marvin “Rod” Fulbright, age 90 of Georgia Highway 320, Toccoa passed away Friday, February 7, 2025 at St. Mary’s Health Care System in Athens, Georgia.
The son of the late Dwain Fulbright and Berta Nell Cheek Fulbright, he was born November 1, 1934 in Franklin County, Georgia, having lived in Stephens and Franklin Counties all his life. He was retired from Patterson Pump with over 35 years of service. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and Sunday School Teacher for the Fulbright Class. He loved the outdoors, farming, going to flea markets and NASCAR.
Survivors include his wife of the home, Jeanette Smith Fulbright; son, James Edward Fulbright of the home; a number of cousins.
Funeral services will be Monday, February 10, 2025, 2 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church with The Reverend David Sosebee officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Dennis Fulbright, Steve Fulbright, William Terrell, Tony Fulbright, Peter Traudt and Rick Addison.

Interment will follow in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of the arrangements for Mr. James Marvin “Rod” Fulbright.
