Sharon Brock Westmoreland, age 64, of Mount Airy, Georgia went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 2, 2025 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.
Mrs. Westmoreland was born in Aurora, Colorado to the late Alton Carr Brock Sr., and Deloris Ann Glaze Brock. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Alton Carr Brock, Jr., by her grandparents AJ and Irene Glaze and N.V. and Rosa Mae Brock; step-mother, Doris H. Brock; and great grandchildren, McIntyre Twins.
Survivors include loving husband of 30 years, David R. Westmoreland; of Mt. Airy. sister, Lauren Drake Jones (Christopher). step-daughters, Brandi (Chris) Looney; of Toccoa; Candice (Justin) Fisher; of Toccoa; son, Adam Westmoreland, of Mt. Airy; grandchildren, Chandler Howell, Kolby Fisher, Alyssa McIntyre (Derrick), Bailey Bramlett, Parker Bramlett, Mackenzie Howell, Kammie Fisher, Elijah Carr Westmoreland, and Riley Ann Fisher; uncle and aunt, Pastor Ron (Dale) Glaze; as well as other extended family.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 3:45 p.m., Sunday, February 9, 2025 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel.
Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, February 9, 2025 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel with Pastor Ron Glaze and Mr. Kenny Crumbley officiating.
A reception will follow the service at the Whitfield Funeral Homes, Family Connection Center.
Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 10, 2025 at The Georgia National Cemetery with Pastor Ron Glaze officiating.
