Brianna McCarty-Gilbert

Brianna McCarty-Gilbert, a beloved daughter, wife, sister, and aunt, passed away on February 6, 2025, in her hometown of Athens, Georgia. Born on May 26, 1995, Brianna was a cherished member of her family and community, known for her warmth and dedication as a homemaker.

Brianna, whose maiden name was McCarty, grew up surrounded by the love of her parents, Anthony Fielding and Julie McCarty Fielding. From a young age, she exhibited a nurturing spirit, a testament to the values instilled in her by her family. As she matured, she became an integral part of her siblings' lives, supporting her sister, Madison Fielding, and brother, Zachary Fielding, with affection and encouragement.

Brianna embraced her role as a wife following her marriage to Kevin John Gilbert, and together they built a loving home filled with laughter and joy. She took great pride in her family, often sharing special moments with her niece, Elizabeth Brock, and celebrating life’s milestones with her future brother-in-law, Jay Brock.

In addition to her immediate family, Brianna was also deeply connected to her Uncle Rodney and Aunt DeeDee Hicks, with whom she shared many fond memories. Her ability to forge strong bonds extended beyond her family, leaving a wide network of friends who will remember her kindness and spirit.
