Shirley Mae Bennett

Shirley Mae Bennett, age 85, of Buford, GA, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Bennett; parents, Henry and Mae Pugh; sisters, Barbara Pugh and Joycelyn Porter; brothers, Randall Pugh and Stephen Pugh; niece, Ira Jackson. Mrs. Bennett is survived by her nieces, Kathy Smith, Laura Ratterree, and Stephanie.

Shirley was born March 25, 1939 and was a lifelong resident of Buford, GA. She was a member of Island Ford Baptist Church. She loved her dogs and loved to sing. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She will be greatly missed.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Island Ford Baptist Church Cemetery, Buford, GA, with Pastor Scott Ledbetter officiating.
