Sara Elizabeth “Beth” Reed

Sara Elizabeth “Beth” Reed was born in Gainesville, Georgia, on April 25, 1958, and died on October 19, 2024.  Beth was a 1977 graduate of Lakeview Academy. In 1983, she received a degree in Practical Nursing from Lanier Area Technical School. 

Beth is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Jefferson Reed and Sara Ward Reed.  

Beth and her mother, Sara, lived together in Charleston, SC, for 15 years. Beth was a loving daughter and an excellent caregiver to Sara. After Sara’s death, Beth relocated to Port St. Lucia, Florida, before settling in Clarksville, Georgia. 

She is survived by her sister, Ruth Reed Pendergrass (Richard) of Seabrook Island, SC; nephew, Reed Pendergrass of Atlanta, GA; niece, Katie Pendergrass Eveleth (Jonathan) of Raleigh, NC; grandnephew and grandniece, Charlie and Anne Eveleth.
