Donny Joe Senter

Mr. Donny Joe Senter, 72, of Flowery Branch, went home to be with the Lord Monday, February 3, 2025 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center – Braselton.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 6, 2025 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Phil Carpenter will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home Wednesday, February 5, 2025 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

Born on November 23, 1952 in Booneville, MS, he was the son of the late Russell Irvin Senter and the late Nelda Fern Tynes Senter. He graduated from South Hall High School in 1971. He was employed with Williams Brothers Concrete for 24 years and later retired from Thomas Concrete after 25 years. Mr. Senter was a member of Chicopee Baptist Church.

He loved his Georgia Bulldawg’s and was an avid Atlanta Braves fan. He was a friend to many and a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother.

In addition to his parents, Russell and Fern, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Irvin and Johnny Senter.

Mr. Senter is survived by his wife of 54 years, Judy Butler Senter; son, Joseph Keith Senter and his fiancé, Jancey McCune; grandchildren, Kaylan, Emily, Everett and Carter Senter, Jackson and Morgan Craig; great-granddaughter, Everly Amon; brothers, Russell & Patsy Senter, Richard &Tressa Senter, Steve Senter, Kim Senter & Jennifer Pettitt, Terry & Wanda Senter; sisters, Tammy and Willy Grove, Andi and Curtis Chisholm, many nieces and nephews; lifetime friends, Levene Teal Abraham and Joe Adams.
