Ronnie Crane, 71, of Dawsonville passed away Sunday, February 2, 2025.
Born March 2, 1953 to the late Carl Dean and Marjorie Crane, he was a lifelong resident of Dawson County. Ronnie was formerly employed as a Regional Manager for Finish Master, was employed for 27 years at Bolling Bridge Marine, formerly was co-owner of B&B Superstation in Dawsonville, and was a cattle farmer. He served on the Dawson County Board of Education for 8 years, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was an avid NASCAR fan. A member of Mill Creek Baptist Church, he was also preceded in death by his brother in law, Chad Barrett, and mother in law, Colleen Tatum.
Surviving are his wife, Cheryl Crane, Dawsonville; children, Trent and Holly Crane, Dahlonega, Carrie and Chuck Rucker, Dahlonega, Josh and Kassity Tatum, Dawsonville, Colby and Keri Crane, Canton; 13 grandchildren; sisters and brothers in law, Sheila and Dennis Brooksher, Dawsonville, Robin and Tom Chandler, Dawsonville, Tracy Barrett, Clarkesville; brother and sister in law, Jason and Maranda Crane, Dawsonville; father in law, Billy Tatum, Kingston, GA; brothers in law, sisters in law, and other relatives also survive.
A Celebration of Ronnie’s Life will be held Sunday, February 9, 2025 at 2 o’clock at Mill Creek Baptist Church. Rev. Jack Pilcher and Rev. Rodney Pilcher will officiate.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 4 until 8 at the funeral home.
