Reece Venable Morris

Mr. Reece Venable Morris, age 95, of Maysville, GA died Monday, February 3, 2025 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Mr. Morris was born in Maysville to the late Richard Venable and Mellie Corine Dunson Morris. He was a member of Commerce First Methodist Church and retired from banking and finance. In addition to his parents, Mr. Morris was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Armestead Morris.

Mr. Morris is survived by his son, Ray Morris of Maysville; sisters, Virginia Dozier of Columbus and Janeann Minor of Wake Forest, NC; brother, Charle Morris of Monroe; grandchild, Ryan Morris; and great-grandchild, Ronin Morris.

Funeral services will be at 1 PM, Thursday, February 6 graveside at Jackson Memorial Park with Rev. Joshua Carr officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM.
