Johnny Cecil Hulsey

Mr. Johnny Cecil Hulsey, 77 of Cornelia passed away January 29, 2025, at his residence.

Johnny was born April 9,1947, to the late J.C. & Mandy Lou Grizzle Hulsey. He was a member of Hopewell United Methodist Church in Murrayville, GA. Johnny was a United States Army Veteran and served during the Vietnam War. He was an original founder of the Rock Creek Veteran Park in Gainesville, GA. For many years, he owned and operated Johnny Hulsey Truck Parts in Gainesville, GA. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend to many. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Grady Hulsey, Billy Dee Hulsey, Mildred Hulsey, and Dot Hulsey Prickett.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Janice Hulsey; daughter and son-in-law, Tanya and Doug Miller; brother and sister-in-law, Doug and Nancy Hulsey; favorite dog, Shorty; several nieces and nephews; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Sunday February 2, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Rev. Terry Rice and Rev. Jamey Prickett will officiate. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery with full military honors.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday February 1 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until the funeral hour.
