Migdalia Acevedo Mendez

Migdalia Acevedo Mendez, age 65, of Warner Robins, GA passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2025. She was preceded in death by his father, Carlos Acevedo. Mrs. Mendez is survived by her husband of forty-five years, Ramon Mendez-Rivera of Warner Robins; mom, Mrs. Olga Santiago of Aguadilla, Puerto Rico; children, Christine Mendez of Warner Robins, Evangeline and Aneury Hernandez of Buford, GA, Ramon and Catherine Mendez of Buford; grandchildren, Jose Miguel Ramon Cruz, Min Joy DeJesus, Adriel Mendez, Amiel Mendez, Ethan Hernandez, Jesse Hernandez; great grandchild, Alejandra Cruz; sisters, Marisol Rodriguez and Janet Acevedo. Mrs. Mendez was born on October 27, 1959 in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, and she graduated from Bushwick High School in Brooklyn, NY. She retired from Woodhull Hospital as a Women’s, Infant, and Children’s clerk. Mrs. Mendez enjoyed reading her Bible and spending time with her family. She like going for walks and window shopping with her husband, and she loved watching shows and movies with her husband. Mrs. Mendez enjoyed collecting mugs and she really enjoyed helping others, especially the less fortunate. She enjoyed visiting her mom, spending quality time with her and helping out in Puerto Rico.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, February 3, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Chaplain Sheila Moses officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, February 2 from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
