James Joshua Dewitt "Josh" Brown

James Joshua Dewitt "Josh" Brown, age 45, of Alto, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2025.

Mr. Brown was born on September 6, 1979 in Clarke County, Georgia to the late Dewitt and Jimmie Lacy Brown. He was raised in Commerce, Georgia by his father, Jesse Brown and his mother, Jimmie. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Margaret Lacy. Josh will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother and friend who was a big teddy bear that loved to make people laugh.

Survivors include his loving wife of 17 years, Tiffany Picquet Brown, of Alto; daughter, Patience Brown, of Alto; son, Damian Brown, of Alto; brothers, Jerry Brown, Terry Brown, Marty Cheatum, Ryan Behe; aunt and uncle, Jane and Randy Lackey; mother-in-law and step-father-in-law, Sharon and Greg Canup; father-in-law and step-mother-in-law, Patrick and Melanie Picquet.

Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, February 1, 2025 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel with Mr. Jason Morgan officiating.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m., Saturday, February 1, 2025 at the funeral home prior to the service.
