Michael Leverne Rutherford

Mr. Michael Leverne Rutherford, 69, of Gainesville, passed away Monday, January 27, 2025 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center – Gainesville.

The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home Thursday, January 30, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on August 5, 1955 in Atlanta, he was the son of the late Howard and Elsie Mae McCarty Rutherford. He was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy. Mr. Rutherford was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Rutherford was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Sims.

Mr. Rutherford is survived by his daughters, Rosanna Carder (Bubba) of Lula, Cabrielle Rutherford of Gainesville; sister, Kim Watson of Gainesville; grandchildren, Logan Carder, Ethan Carder (Haylee), Dawson Carder (Cheyenne), Amelia Rutherford, Grant Rutherford; great grandchild, Bentley Carder and a host of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.

Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Rd., Gainesville, Ga. 30504 is in charge of the arrangements.
