James “JC” Brannon

James “JC” Brannon, age 76, of Flowery Branch, GA; passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025. He was preceded in death by his son, James Anthony Brannon; father, Clarence Brannon; mother, Bessie Moore; sisters, Wanda Bannister, Wilma Stinchcomb, Faye Youngblood; brother, Harold Brannon.

Mr. Brannon is Survived by his wife of 56 years, Cathy Samples Brannon of Auburn, GA; daughter, Erica (Chuck) Taylor of Auburn, GA; grandchildren, James Lee Brannon, Remington Sean Taylor; sister, Doris Thomas of Buford, GA; sister-in-law, JoAnn Bradford Brannon of Buford, GA; brother, Danny (Vickie) Brannon of Pendergrass, GA; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mr. Brannon was born January 15, 1949 in Lafayette, GA. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served from 1967 to 1970. He also served in Vietnam. Mr. Brannon was a member of the American Legion, Post 127 in Sugar Hill, GA. He was a retired Truck Driver and Construction Worker. He was of the Baptist faith.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at 3:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA, with Rev. Joel Shadburn officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford, GA. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 31, 2025, from 4:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
