Allen Michael Garcia

Allen Michael Garcia, 66, of Dawsonville passed away Monday, January 20, 2025.

Born December 20, 1958 in Miami Beach, Florida to the late Miguel and Niomi Garcia, he has lived in Dawson County since 1991 having moved from Clewiston, Florida.  Mr. Garcia worked as a welder his entire working career.  He was a very creative craftsman, was an avid NASCAR fan, and enjoyed driving his truck.  He was also preceded in death by a sister, Lily Garcia.

Surviving are his wife, Twyla Garcia; children, Allen, Jr. and Amy Garcia, Kyle Garcia, Harley Pressley, Haley Pressley, Hunter Pressley, Hayden Pressley, all of Dawsonville, Eric Glass, Valdosta; grandchildren, Mark Garcia, Taylor and Seth Thomas, Kelsey Garcia, Tristan Garcia, Paisley Glass; great grandson, Silas Thomas; and a sister, Tiffany Ennis, Delaware.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at 2 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. Josh Coker and Rev. Richard Picklesimer will officiate.  Interment will follow in the Dawsonville Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1 until 8 and Wednesday from 11 until 2 at the funeral home.
