Doris Janet Green

Mrs.  Doris Janet Green, age 97, of Gainesville, Ga. passed away on Thursday January 23, 2025 at her residence.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday January 26, 2025 at 3:30 p.m.  in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home.  Rev. Gary Wilson will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Sunday January 26, 2025 from 1:30 until 3:30 p.m.

Mrs. Green was born November 26, 1927 in Cleveland, Ga. to the late Loy Skelton and Eva Carpenter Skelton. She was retired from Wrigley’s where she worked in the packing department.  She attended Free Chapel.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband. Henry Thomas Green and a number of brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Lynn Green of Gainesville and son, Darryl Green of Dawsonville.  She is also survived by sisters, Ruth Lancaster and Jean Pardue, both of Cleveland and a brother, Crawford Skelton of Cleveland, grandchildren, Jennifer and Britton Adams, Ashley and David Durden, Nicole and Justin  Shultz and Rachel and Mark Loudermilk, great grandchildren, Ayda Green, Davis Adams, Ethan Durden, Elenora Adams, Oliver Durden, Joslyn Shultz and Raelyn Loudermilk.
