Mitchell Lee Brookshire

Mitchell Lee Brookshire, 68, of Gainesville, GA passed away on January 23, 2025. Born on December 31, 1956, in Gainesville, Mitchell was a witty and warmhearted individual who was a friend to everyone he met. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

 Mitchell is survived by his brother, Ronnie Brookshire (Phyllis), his daughters, Kristy Cline (Eric), Becky Dover (Carmen), Nicole Moore (Daniel), and his grandchildren, Harper Wade, Cash Moore, and Hunter Moore.

He was preceded in death by his spouse, Teresa Rundles, his father, James Brookshire, and his mother, Ruby Brookshire (Cagle).

 Mitchell drove a truck for many years for Gold Kist and was co-owner and operator of The Biscuit Barn. His hard work and commitment made him a loved member of our community.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025, from 6 – 8 PM and Sunday, January 26, 2025, from 12 – 2 PM at Little & Davenport Funeral Home in Gainesville, GA.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, January 26, 2025, at 2 PM in the Little & Davenport Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery.
