Rebecca Sue Morris Jameson

Mrs. Rebecca Sue Morris Jameson, age 65 of Mt. Airy, Georgia passed away Sunday, January 19, 2025 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville.

A daughter of the late Junior Morris and Emily McCrackin Morris, she was born October 31, 1959 in Stephens County, Georgia having lived in Stephens and Habersham Counties all her life.  She was employed with Scovill Manufacturing for a number of years and later worked as a caregiver.  She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Antioch Baptist Church.  She enjoyed working in her flower garden.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband of the home, David Keith Jameson; daughters, Tonya Bennett of Alto, Georgia, Heather Garrison and Brandy Handberry both of Toccoa and Brooke Jameson Stonecypher of Eastanollee; twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; brother, Rocky Morris of Rome, Georgia.

Memorial service Friday, January 24, 2025, 2 p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Chris Webb officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Friday from 1 p.m. until the service time.
