George M. Brown

George M. Brown, age 69, of Sugar Hill, GA, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil Robert Brown and Thelma Pauline Kendrick Brown Hite; brother-in-law, Gerry Bresadola. Mr. Brown is survived by his children, Shonda Brown of Jefferson, GA, George Robert Brown of Sugar Hill, GA; former wife, Sherry Lee Brown of Braselton, GA; grandchildren, Destiny (Zeke) Howard of Ball Ground, GA, Jayce Brown of Jefferson, GA, Ryker Brown of Jefferson, GA, Journey Rainwater; great-grandchild, Paxton Howard; sisters, Agnes (Ronnie) Hamilton of Gainesville, Shirley Bresadola of Smyrna, GA, Stella (Gary) Bledsoe of Jasper, GA; brother, James (Susan) Brown of Wedowee, AL; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mr. Brown was born June 24, 1955 in Buford, GA. He was a 1973 graduate of North Gwinnett high School. Mr. Brown was a retired Truck Driver from Gulf Oil Corporation. He was a member of Temple Missionary Baptist Church in Gainesville, GA. Mr. Brown loved model cars and trains and spending time with his grandchildren and family.

A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at 3:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA, with Rev. Levi Nix, pastor of Temple Missionary Baptist Church officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 26, 2025 from 2:00 until 3:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
