Mr. Roger McFall

Mr. Roger McFall, age 85 of Braselton, Ga. passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at N.E.Ga. Medical Center Hospice after a brief battle with cancer.

Roger was born in Sharon, Pennsylvania to the late George McFall and Audrey McFall. He was preceded in death by his brother Dr. Gerald McFall and is survived by his wife of 32 years Betty McFall, son Britt (Shannon) McFall, son Glenn (Donna) McFall, daughter Susan Jimenez (Roberto) and his sister Sally Steigner, 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren including numerous niece and nephews.

Roger proudly served his country in the United States Navy on the destroyer the USS Meredith.

An avid fisherman, hunter and lover of nature in his younger years, Roger loved nothing more in recent years than to sit on his back porch he called his tree house and watch the wildlife and especially the hummingbirds.

He had a wicked sense of humor and was still cracking jokes and making us laugh a few days before the end. Roger watched 12Stone services online every Sunday morning and loved to hear his favorite worship leader Ansley sing.

A small, graveside service with full Military Honors will be held Saturday January 25th at 2:00 p.m., at Memorial Park Cemetery. His grandson Jordan Bruce will be officiating.

Roger's family would like to sincerely thank the E.R. Staff and 6th floor staff at N.E. Ga Medical Center Gainesville campus for their loving care and especially nursing staff David, Nadine and Kristy, Dr. Timothy Brock, and Dr. David Woo of Gainesville Urology and Dr. Corey Weinstein. And many thanks to the NGMC Hospice team especially Kathey and Brandy for their above and beyond care given to Roger during this time.
