Donna Lynn Arndt

Donna Lynn Arndt, 58, of Buford, GA, passed away Monday, January 13, 2025. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 18, 2025, at 3 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Pastor Phil Olsen will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 18, 2025, from 1 PM – 3 PM at the funeral home.

Donna was preceded in death by her father, Robert Steinke. She is survived by her husband, Aaron Arndt; sons and daughters-in-law, Andrew and Gabrielle Arndt, Anthony and Sarah Arndt; sons, Avery Arndt and Austin Arndt; grandchildren, Autumn Arndt, Roland Arndt, Aubrie Arndt, Hollis Arndt, and Lennox Arndt; mother, Linda Steinke; brother and sister-in-law, Darold and Pam Steinke; twin brother, David Steinke; several nieces and nephews.

Donna was born on November 3, 1966 in St. Joseph, MI to Robert and Linda Steinke. In 1985, she graduated from Lakeshore High School and married her husband, Aaron Arndt. After high school, she attended Lake Michigan College to pursue a career in nursing and worked at D.C. Cook Nuclear Power Plant in Bridgman, Michigan. She chose to stay at home and care for her four children. Later, she ran a small business with Aaron while also being a full-time caretaker for her youngest son, Austin.

Donna was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and friend and never a stranger to anyone she cared about. She always looked for the positive side of things and found a way to laugh, even through the hardest of times. She never forgot a birthday or a holiday and gave a thoughtful card, no matter how near or far you were. She loved to dance, ice skate, hike, kayak, and show her love through food. She kept scrapbooks, notes, and pictures of her children and grandchildren and cherished every memory. She loved hosting on the holidays and found joy in making her house festive. She brought so much joy to the lives of others and had an everlasting no-quit attitude. She was irreplaceable and will be missed dearly.
