Mrs. Mable Jean LeCroy Bailey, age 90 of Mize Road, Toccoa passed away Monday, January 13, 2025 at the Stephens County Hospital.

A daughter of the late H.R. and Mabel Stephenson LeCroy, she was born July 30, 1934 in Franklin County, Georgia having lived most of her life in Stephens County, Georgia.  She was retired from the Social Security Administration as a Service Representative with 22 years of service.  She was a member of Allens United Methodist Church and the Ladies Sunday School Class.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Turner Bailey in 2011, by a son, Robert Douglas Bailey in 1980, son-in-law, Donald Collins in 2023 and by her siblings, Roscoe LeCroy, Bill LeCroy, Steve LeCroy, Jewell LeCroy, Ruth Pabst, Nell Addison, Sue Spears and Louise Crawford.

Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Collins of Eastanollee; son and daughter-in-law, Stuart and Denese Bailey of Boquete, Panama; grandchildren, Bailey and Max VanMinos, Mikah Collins and Robert Bailey (Suellen Gibson); great-grandchildren, Macy Gibson, Chambers Gibson, Titan Gibson and Emelia VanMinos; sister-in-law, Edna Waters of Arabi, Georgia; a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 18, 2025, 3 p.m. at Allens United Methodist Church with The Revered Paul Garner and The Reverend Jason Burton officiating.  The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers and should meet at the church by 2:30 p.m., Butch Payne, Barry Adams, Steven LeCroy, Greg Jones, Bryan Bullard and Mikah Collins. 

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Friday, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Allens United Methodist Church, 15577 Highway 106, Martin, Georgia 30557 in memory of Mrs. Jean LeCroy Bailey.

Interment will follow in the Allens United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Jean LeCroy Bailey.
