Carol Ann Whitt Brackett

Carol Ann Whitt Brackett, age 69, of Buford, GA passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Holbert and Ruth Lancaster Whitt; sister-in-law, Peggy Whitt. Mrs. Brackett is survived by her husband of 47 years, Kenneth Brackett of Buford, GA; daughter, Jessica (Kerry) West of Flowery Branch, GA; son, Ryan (Jessica) Brackett of Lula, GA; grandchildren, Serenity Brackett, Harvest Brackett; brother, Frankie Whitt of Washington, GA; sisters, Melinda (Samuel) Owens of Dacula, GA, Allison (Kenneth) Wallace of Buford, GA, and Mary Ellen (Keith) Phillips of Buford, GA; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mrs. Brackett was born July 1, 1955, in Buford, GA. She was a 1973 graduate of North Gwinnett High School. Mrs. Brackett was a Homemaker. She also worked for Bona Allen as the Office Manager for 4 years and Johns Manville Company in Norcross, GA for 6 years. Mrs. Brackett was a member of Buford Church of God.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025 at 3:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA with Pastor Joey Grizzle officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford, GA. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 17, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
