Jose Luis Conde

Mr. Jose Luis Conde, 79, of Gainesville, passed away Friday, January 10, 2025 at New Horizon’s.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, January 18, 2025 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Shane Dailey will officiate. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home Saturday from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Born on August 25, 1945 in Matamoras, Tamaulipas, Mexico, he as the son of the late David Conde and the late Rafaela Murillo. He was retired from Con-Agra where he worked in refrigeration maintenance. Mr. Conde was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Conde was preceded in death by his wife, Maria Padilla-Conde.

Mr. Conde is survived by his daughter, Patricia (Mario) Labastida of Gainesville; sons, Ignacio (Maria) Conde of Clermont, Jose (Maggie) Conde of Gainesville; 14 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and a number of other loving relatives.
