Elisa Reyes

Mrs. Elisa Reyes, age 88 of Hoschton, passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at her residence, surrounded by family.

Funeral Mass will be held at 3:00 P.M. Friday, January 17, 2025 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church with Father Ignacio Morales officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M. and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, January 16, 2025 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home and from 2:00 to 3:00 P.M. prior the mass at Prince of Peace Catholic Church.

Mrs. Reyes was born February 1, 1936 to the late Pedro & Petra Diaz Flecha in Puerto Rico. After living in Melbourne, Florida for 8 years, she relocated with her family in 2016 to Hoschton, Georgia. She attended Prince of Peace Catholic Church.  She was a beloved wife and mother who made sure her family came first. She loved to cook for her family and during the Holidays she loved to host family gatherings.

She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Rufo Reyes; son, Davey and his wife Colleen Reyes; brother, Guilo Flecha; sister, Carmen “Delia” Maniero; and 3 grandchildren Luke, Marissa and Kyle: and 6 great grandchildren Aubrey, Knox, Elisa, Eliana, Lilah and Nina.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in her name at the Elisa Reyes Tribute Page, Alzheimer's Association.
