Sharon Ann Tow, 72, of Buford, Georgia passed away Thursday, January 9, 2025, surrounded by her family.
Sharon was born in Cleveland, Georgia on May 7, 1952 to her surviving parents Jesse and Virginia Tow. She is preceded in death by her brothers Clark and Michael Tow of Cleveland, Georgia.
Sharon is survived by her Husband of 3 years, James Ledford and loving daughter and son-in-law, Krista and Philip Taylor of Cumming, Georgia. Her pride and joy, grandsons Tucker and Devin Taylor. Also surviving her sisters, Myra Fincher and husband Stuart, Marie Satterfield and husband Greg, sister-in-law Jeanette Tow and many loving nieces and nephews.
Sharon, a graduate of White County High School, Class of 1970, dedicated many years of her life to the banking industry before venturing into entrepreneurial pursuits. Alongside her beloved baby sister, she co-owned and operated a gas station and deli, later expanding her business ventures into a floral gift shop. Her entrepreneurial spirit then led her into the restaurant industry.
Sharon was a devoted member of Liberty Baptist Church, where she found great purpose and fulfillment in serving her church family. Whether playing the organ or lending a helping hand wherever needed, Sharon’s dedication to her faith and her church community was unwavering. She deeply cherished her Liberty Baptist family and her spirit of service and love for others left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
Family and friends will be received at Bearden Funeral Home in Dawsonville Georgia, on Tuesday January 14, 2025 from 4p.m. until 8 p.m. and Wednesday January 15, 2025 from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday January 15, 2025 at 12 noon at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jason Hamby officiating. Interment will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Cleveland, Georgia.
In Lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Lotus Village who took amazing and loving care of Sharon in her final days on earth. A check can be made payable to Lotus Village and mailed to 440 Tribble Gap Road, Cumming, GA 30040.
Sharon's memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
