Robert “Stanley” Stringer was born August 20, 1954 to the late Robert & Eloise Stringer in Gainesville, Ga. He attended Fair St, EE Butler High and Avita. He joined Mt Zion at an early age and enjoyed listening to Gospel music and humming along. He loved going to parades, the movies and family gatherings. Stanley will be greatly missed but will always be remembered by his big smile and infectious personality. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Stringer, Sarah E Stringer. He leaves to cherish his memories sisters: Gloria J Strickland, Gwendolyn K Harper (David) and Thalia L Blackwell (Freddie); Aunts: Dorothy Dean (Rev Gene) Hepzibah, Ga, Geraldine Roberts Savannah, Ga, Ernestine Williams Clinton, SC; Nieces: M. Camille Rubin, Carmen Eberhart, Shannon Earls, Kelly Williams Nephews: Brandon Blackwell, Cameron Williams and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held on Sunday, January
12, 2025 at Mount Zion Baptist Church, Flowery Branch at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.
