Shirley Nell Allison

Mrs. Shirley Nell Allison, age 82 of Oakwood, passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2025.

Funeral services will be held at a later date with Rev. Scott Slaton & Rev. Myles Brown officiating.

Mrs. Allison was born May 6, 1942 to the late Joe Slaton & Sylvia Sanders in Gainesville, Georgia. She retired after working in tax services and was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her husband, George Ray Allison of Oakwood; son, Don R. Allison of Oakwood; granddaughter, Donnie Rae Allison of Clarksville; granddaughter, Candice Nicole Allison and Zak-Reed of Flowery Branch; and great-grandchildren, Hunter Reed, Maddy Reed, & Arthur Reed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Dan Slaton.

At the family’s request everyone wear casual clothing, but dress warm.
