Stanley Dyer, age 65, of Cleveland, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 5, 2025.
Mr. Dyer was born on May 25, 1959, in Dahlonega, Georgia, to Lillian Hogan Dyer and the late Eugene Dyer. He found joy in music, often spending time picking music with his lifelong friends. Stanley worked as an engineer in tool and die and spent his spare time tinkering. He attended The Lord's Vineyard Community Church. In addition to his father, Stanley was preceded in death by his siblings, Ricky Dyer and Anita Holland.
He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Joy Dyer; mother, Lillian Dyer; and siblings, Danny and Tammy Dyer, Sherry and Chris Cochran, Debbie and Hank Heffner, and David Dyer. He also leaves behind his brother-in-law, Anthony Holland; sister-in-law, Annette Dyer; grandchildren, Aiden Smith and Kaylee Remley; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family who will forever treasure his memory.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 9, 2025, in the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Wes Davis and the Rev. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at the funeral home.
