Susan Buchanan Gaddy, (AKA, gg) born on July 10, 1945, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2025 in Gainesville, GA, where she had recently moved to be closer to family. She was the beloved daughter of Thomas and Tensie Belle Buchanan and grew up alongside her two brothers and three sisters in Marion, Alabama.
Susan attended Judson College in Marion, Alabama, laying the foundation for a professional career as an accountant in Selma, Alabama, where her skills and professionalism were highly valued. As a professional, she valued the relationships she developed with her colleagues where she forged many lifelong friendships.
As a mother, survived by; two sons, Charles Anthony Dickinson, James Michael Dickinson and stepdaughter, Jacqueline Wynona Gaddy, Susan embraced her role with love and care.
