Fred Daniel

Mr. Fred Daniel, 75, of Gainesville, passed away Friday, January 3, 2025 at his residence following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 8, 2025 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Phil Carpenter will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.

Born on December 11, 1949 in Commerce, he was the son of the late Thelma Allen Daniel. He was retired from Chicopee where he worked in the card room. Mr. Daniel was a member of Sugar Hill Baptist Church.

Mr. Daniel is survived by his wife of 54 years, Hazel Daniel of Gainesville; sons and daughters in law, Dwayne and Michelle Daniel, Shane and Justine Daniel all of Gainesville, Joseph and Victoria Daniel of Oakwood; grandchildren, Cameron O’Kelley, Ernie Daniel, Morgan Gunter, Brandon Daniel, Britney Daniel, Breonna Daniel; great grandchildren, Baylee Daniel, Weston Daniel, Wade Gunter; sister, Ida Mae Richardson and a number of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.

Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Rd., Gainesville, Ga. 30504 is in charge of the arrangements.
