Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mrs. Louisa Ingram Tarpley, age 60, of Jefferson, Georgia. Mrs. Tarpley entered rest on the morning of Tuesday, December 31st, 2024. Mrs. Tarpley was born in Atlanta, Georgia as the daughter to the late Robert Jackson Ingram and the late Emma Wray Burnett Ingram. Mrs. Tarpley was a graduate of DeKalb Christian Academy and a retired medical assistant. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband, Mark Tarpley of Jefferson; son, Ryan Tarpley (Lucy) of Peachtree City; daughter, Katy Tarpley Ranew (David) of Decatur; son, Jason Tarpley (Kayla) of Cumming; sister, Lee Ingram Leary (Kevin) of Bethlehem; grandsons Harrison and Jackson; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Marvin and Sue Tarpley of Dublin; brother-in-law Scott Tarpley (Melissa) of Harrisonburg, VA and additional family members in North Carolina.
A memorial service for the family will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, January 11th, 2025 at the Evans Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Eric Shelton officiating. There will be a visitation open to anyone with the family after the service is concluded at the home of Mark Tarpley at 538 River Mist Circle, Jefferson.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Shepherd Center in memory of Mrs. Tarpley for everything they did to allow the family to have her with them through one final holiday season.
