Gina Maria Paul

Gina Maria Paul, 62, of Buford, GA, passed away on December 31, 2024.  

Gina was born on April 7, 1962, to Edwin and Mary Whidby. She was a 1980 graduate of Buford High School and a 1984 graduate of Georgia Southern University. In 2022, she retired from State Farm Insurance after 36 years.  

She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Terry Paul; daughter, Lanier Paul Dennis and grandson, Sawyer Dennis. As well as cousins Rhonda (Tracy) Steele, Ed (Wendell) McBrayer, Shea (Jim) Bergen, Brandon Ross, Brantley Bergen, Jarrett Ross, Wade Hampton Ross, Madison Ross; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Robbie and Laura Paul. And her Whidby family.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Mary Whidby; aunt, Joan Lee; uncle, Ed McBrayer; uncle, Billy Stancil and cousin, Kevin Lee; grandparents Arthur and Ruby Stancil and Hurbert and Lorene Whidby.  

Everyone who knew Gina loved her. She was always smiling, laughing and kind to everyone and never met a stranger. She poured all of her love into her family and friends and made her home a welcome place to all, especially the kids who adored their Miss Gina and GiGi. She was passionate about football and baseball and loved watching the Falcons, Braves and Crimson Tide. She loved being at the beach, Mexican food and spending time with friends and family. She was very generous, caring, compassionate, energetic and loving.  

A celebration of life will be planned for a later date.
