“Jacqui Dundore was a sweet spirit, a Christian woman, a faithful wife, a wonderful mother, a loving daughter and sister, and a loyal employee. She was a good woman.”
A native of Denver, Colorado, Mrs. Dundore was the wife of Ron Dundore, and the daughter of Thomas Jack Kirkland (deceased) and Virginia Overall Kirkland (deceased), Denton, Texas. Mrs. Dundore was a deacon and a member of the First Baptist Church of Commerce. She served as a Sunday School Teacher; FBC Quilting Ministry, and Meals on Wheels for Jackson County. She was active in the distribution of Gideon Bibles in the Commerce area. She was a Certified Activity Director for the States of Louisiana and Georgia. She was a retired Executive Receptionist for a former City Clerk of the City of Commerce.
Honors bestowed upon Mrs. Dundore included, but were not limited to: “Activity Director of the Year” for the State of Georgia.
She was an alumnus of Denton High School, Denton, Texas.
She is survived by her devoted and loving husband, Ron Dundore, of the home; her Mother-in-Law: Margie Dundore of Commerce, Georgia; 2 sons: Tobias Stout (and wife, Charlotte), Orange City, Florida and Tim Stout and Ann Sinclair of DeWitt, Iowa; 2 step-sons: Walt Dundore (and wife, Fran) of Athens, Georgia, and Jeremy Dundore (and wife, Jessica), of Clarkesville, Georgia; 1 sister: Mary Anne Sawers, Denton, Texas; 1 brother-in-law, Dennis Dundore (and wife, Melinda), Odessa, Florida. Survivors also include 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren: Tate Stout, Breaux Bridge, Louisiana; Austin Stout, Eldrige, Iowa; Scott and Nicholas Seeman, both of Davenport, Iowa; Ansley Elam of Bethlehem, Georgia; Jenna Cook of Athens, Georgia; and Gavin and Peyton Dundore of Clarkesville, Georgia.
A private memorial service, officiated by Philip Vestal, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Commerce, will be held for the family at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that contributions be made to ST.
